Koncept ID were appointed directly by Closegate Hotel Developments following their acquisition of the Radisson Blu Durham, to lead the renovation of the hotel’s interiors.
The initial phase of works has focused on redefining the guest arrival experience, including the creation of a striking new bar overlooking the River Wear. The newly introduced Riverscape Lounge offers guests a refined setting to relax and enjoy uninterrupted views of the river and surrounding cityscape. In parallel, a comprehensive scheme to enhance and elevate the guest bedrooms is currently in development.
